What is Meddle?
Meddle is a combination of importers and exporters which are
communicating though a common stream format.
By writing a plugin for your program which can use this stream format,
you will be able to read and write a long range of file formats with a
minimum amount of coding.
Since the communication is made through a stream format, the API for
your plugin will remain constant as new file types are added. This will
minimize changes to your program as Meddle evolves

We are currently in the planning stage and is working on a prototype as
well as defining the stream format.
